HeartMeter+ presents a sleek and thoughtfully designed interface for monitoring heart rate during exercise. Paired with a Bluetooth heart rate monitor, it enables users to visualize real-time cardiac effort, displaying their current heart rate in beats per minute as well as as a percentage of maximum heart rate. This allows for quick assessment of training intensity and facilitates workout adjustments as necessary.

The application is suitable for various cardiovascular activities, including running, cycling, and mountain biking, among others.

Maximum Heart Rate

<li>HeartMeter+ estimates your maximum heart rate based on your age; however, recognizing individual variability, it also offers the option to manually set this value for greater accuracy.</li>

Custom Heart Rate Training Zones (In-App Purchase)

<li>Users can personalize their training zones by adjusting range parameters, zone labels, and associated colors to tailor the training experience.</li>
</ul>

Voice Feedback (In-App Purchase)

<li>The app provides periodic voice prompts during workouts, relaying information such as current zone, heart rate, and percentage of maximum heart rate. Please note that voice feedback currently functions only when the app is active in the foreground with the screen lit.</li>

Integration with Apple’s Health App

<li>HeartMeter+ seamlessly integrates with Apple’s Health app to access live heart rate data from your Bluetooth monitor. It also requests permission to access your birthdate to more accurately estimate your maximum heart rate.</li>

Setup Instructions

<li>Prior to use, connect your Bluetooth-enabled heart rate monitor to your iOS device by navigating to Settings > Bluetooth and selecting your device once detected.</li>
